hohoho! I've succeeded in making tiramisu.
Tiramisu is an italian dessert cake made with
ladyfingers dipped with mascarpone cream and coffee (and alcohol such as brandy/ marsala.)
Alright, for those who are interested to know what the ingredients are or wanna try making the cake. Here it is. (FYI: I've grabbed different recipes from different place and edit some changes here and there)
Ingredients
For making coffee
1/2 cup boiling water
1 tbsp coffee (any type will do)
1/2 tbsp sugar
For making mascropone cream
2 eggs separated
250g mascarpone cheese
150ml lightly whipped cream (optional)(i didn't try using this)
Ladyfingers (known to be 'savoiardi')
cocoa powder 1/2 cup of sugar
1tbsp brandy/ marsala
For decorations (optional)
Chocolate flakes
Strawberries
Instructions
Beat egg yolks and sugar in large bowl with electric beater until pale and thick.
Add masarpone cheese and mix well with electric beater. (optional) add brandy/marsala into the mixture.
(optional) then add whipped cream - mix gently (dun use the electric beater)Refrigerate the mixture.
(optional) Beat egg white until soft peak foam. then put in the mascarpone mixture using wooden spoon (any others also can)
Mix boiling water, coffee powder and sugar. Stir and mix them well.
Layer the ladyfingers and pour in 1/2 of the mixture. Layer another layer of ladyfingers and pour the remaining of the mixture.
Refrigerated for at least 4 hours or overnight. Cover with plastic wrap.
Dust generously with cocoa. Decorate with chocolate flakes and strawberries.
